Bluetooth Matter over Thread Solution

Realtek's Matter over Thread solution, the RTL877x series, includes the Matter over Thread End Device, RCP Border Router, and Thread Display Controller, enabling the easy construction of a highly compatible smart home system. The RCP solution utilizes OpenThread on a set-top box as the border router, establishing a connection through the Open Thread Border Router (OTBR). It supports operation on Android, Linux, or Ubuntu systems, allowing for the integration of both Wi-Fi and Thread protocols. Through the Thread Display Controller, users can control smart home devices, such as household lights (Matter over Thread End Device), and manage Matter over Wi-Fi or Thread outlets via a wireless router. This system uses Thread networks for low-power, low-latency device connections and control, and it integrates seamlessly with existing Google systems, making it convenient for users to adopt.

Realtek's Matter over Thread Bluetooth solution features an advanced wireless multi-mode transceiver controller, a low-power high-performance MCU with TrustZone, an Audio Codec, and Ethernet RMII and Display Controller interfaces, demonstrating its versatility and applicability across multiple domains. The solutions, such as the RTL8772, RTL8771, and RTL8777G series, all support Matter and provide advanced technological support for smart home applications, ensuring stable connectivity and precise control in complex environments, enabling a better smart living experience.

Bluetooth dual-mode (BR/EDR, LE Audio) transceiver control chip solution

Realtek's next-generation Bluetooth dual-mode transceiver control solution, the RTL8761C, supports traditional Bluetooth, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), and LE Audio protocols. It can help upgrade computers and set-top boxes to support the latest smart home devices with LE Audio, accelerating product upgrades and enabling new Bluetooth applications. Additionally, when paired with Realtek's Bluetooth stack software, it can further assist in-car entertainment systems in achieving multi-channel audio and HID device connections. Besides supporting traditional Bluetooth stereo audio transmission (A2DP), the RTL8761C also supports LE Audio's Connected Isochronous Stream (CIS) and Broadcast Isochronous Stream (BIS), enhancing audio transmission efficiency, improving device interoperability, and enriching the entertainment experience for rear-seat passengers.

In this exhibition, in addition to showcasing its complete solutions for Matter over Thread and Bluetooth dual-mode (BR/EDR, LE Audio) transceiver control solution, Realtek will also simultaneously launch a three-in-one HID dongle for TVs, PCs, and OTT devices, as well as demonstrate several other technologies, including an Off-Line KWS (Keyword Spotting) voice wake-up solution. These offerings will provide customers and users with more diverse and efficient solutions, supporting the development of future smart applications.
