Realtek has officially released a new version of the RTL87x3EP MCU Dashboard SDK (v3.14.0.13). This release brings a richer feature set for Dashboard applications: upgrading from basic road name navigation to map image navigation and adds various GUI-related demo projects to further enhance development efficiency for developers.
1. Support for RTL8773ETP
This SDK version adds support for the RTL8773ETP chip, providing more hardware options for Dashboard applications and meeting diverse design requirements.
2. Comprehensive Dashboard Application Enhancements
The Dashboard application has received significant upgrades in this release:
In addition to Bluetooth LE-based road name and direction navigation, the SDK now supports map-based navigation via GATT over BR/EDR (for single-chip solution) and WiFi (for dual-chip solution), greatly enhancing both user experience and product competitiveness.
QSPI interface support has been added to facilitate high-resolution image transfer and multi-screen data interaction.
In addition to Keil, GCC is now supported for compiling Dashboard project, covering a broader range of development toolchains.
3. Rich Set of GUI Related Demo Projects
This release also includes multiple GUI demo projects, including the open-source LVGL project, as well as Realtek's in-house developed RVD (Realtek Visual Designer) and Honey GUI projects. These resources help developers get started quickly with GUI development, accelerating feature validation and product iteration.
We will continue to optimize and enhance SDK functionality. We highly recommend upgrading to the latest SDK version to benefit from improved development support and product performance.
