The smart helmet is an innovative piece of riding gear integrated with Bluetooth communication technology, designed for motorcyclists, e-bike riders, and cyclists. It enables functions like phone calls, navigation, music playback and sharing, and group intercom without needing to handle a smartphone, significantly enhancing both safety and convenience during rides.
Realtek's Bluetooth audio chipset solution delivers full-spectrum technical support for smart helmets. Boasting a high-performance audio architecture, a robust development ecosystem, and comprehensive end-to-end services, it empowers the development of a complete product portfolio, ranging from entry-level to high-end models.
System Structure
The entry-level smart helmet utilizes a Realtek Bluetooth SoC chip with dual-mode Bluetooth connectivity, offering strong compatibility and stable, reliable connections. The solution integrates a microphone and features a built-in independent DSP chip with advanced noise cancellation algorithms. This effectively suppresses ambient noise to significantly enhance call clarity. Additionally, reserved I2S/SPI interfaces support the expansion of high-performance external audio processors, adequately meeting the need for high-fidelity audio.
Additionally, the entry-level helmet can connect to a smartphone and another helmet via Bluetooth simultaneously, enabling functions like music sharing and intercom communication.
The high-end smart helmet model not only incorporates all the features of the base version but also integrates RTK Audio Mesh 1.0 technology and is compatible with the new-generation LE Audio standard. This solution supports an array of up to 6 microphones and, by leveraging advanced large-model AI noise cancellation algorithms, effectively suppresses ambient noise to ensure clear and intelligible communication. Additionally, the solution provides an open DSP SDK, allowing clients to deploy their own customized audio processing algorithms.
With RTK Audio Mesh 1.0, the high-end smart helmet allows you to stay connected to your phone and up to three riding partners at once, creating a four-person network for crystal-clear, full-duplex conversation.
